Highlight Students
Mikayla Alves, a senior Electrical Engineering major, was recently awarded the SMART Scholarship by the U.S. Department of Defense. She plans to pursue a master’s, Professional Engineer license, and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
Alyssa M. Bonifacio, a sophomore computer engineer, was also awarded the SMART Scholarship by the U.S. Department of Defense. She plans to receive a master’s in software engineering. After she completes her master’s she will work at Robins Air Force Base in the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center.

- “Teaching Visual Content Description for Visually Impaired Users using Visual Rhetoric and Kostelnick’s Design Matrix” at ACM’s SIGDOC 2021
